Kombucha Workshop with CreativeMornings and A Donation to UPenn's Fine Arts Library

A couple of weeks ago, I had the great pleasure (and fun!) hosting my first-ever Kombucha workshop with CreativeMornings for their FieldTrips! During the workshop, I showed a group of curious and enthusiastic people on how to DIY Kombucha at home and transform the starter yeast ("SCOBY") into vegan leather (or Kombucha leather), an exciting and sustainable crafting material.
Coincidentally, in that same week of my Kombucha Workshop, I received an email from the Fisher Fine Arts Library at the University of Pennsylvania, requesting a sample of my Kombucha leather to be included in their New Materials Collection. I was thrilled, and said "Of course!" in a heartbeat. And this has officially marked my first (hopefully of many) museum donation!

A LIST OF THINGS YOU NEED WHEN YOU FIRST START OUT:
A glass jar for brewing
Raw Cane Sugar
Coffee filters and rubber band
6 cups of starter Kombucha
